WALL MOUNTED

Exterior and Interior Construction

Painted 3/16” thick hardboard, 1/2” birch plywood, and aluminum extrusion frame provides strength and weight management with the following configurations:

• Secured to a wall
• Free standing (no floor plate) (i.e. an aisle end cap)
• Free standing (floor plate)
• Part of a group of systems to form an “L”, “W”, or “U” shape
• Part of a group of systems side by side against wall

Removable side pieces are used to achieve configurations. Side pieces are connected to the aluminum frame with furniture grade hex bolts (supplied). Desired configuration must be specified at the time of the order.

Paint color must be specified at the time of the order.

The base of the unit is finished with moulding with many options available.

For the “secured to a wall” configuration, if the existing wall has moulding please provide a moulding profile so that the sides can be negative laser cut, allowing for the display to fit snug against the wall with no gaps or spaces.

The base of the unit (and side pieces when not secured to a wall) have up to 30 lbs. of weight at the bottom for added stability. A floor plate should be used in public access areas.

Electrical Power

The iC4K requires a clean 110VAC power source such as that suitable for a computer. The iC4K draws up to 250 watts.  There is a single power cord which can exit from the back or the side.

Framed Video Display

The iC4K incorporates a modified high dynamic range HD or Ultra HD LCD display so that it can be framed as fine artwork. Various frame styles are available to accommodate any decor. The display is optimized for close viewing; the density of the pixels provides a continuous smooth tonal image as compared to lower resolution displays that cause images to appear to be behind a screen door.

Speaker With Volume Knob

The iC4K utilizes a hi-fi quality two way speaker with superior sound quality as compared to a TV speaker. The side mounted configuration makes it possible to hear sound clearly requiring high volume settings, which could disturb others not utilizing the display. A volume control is mounted directly below the speaker making user adjustments completely intuitive.

The iC4K Control Panel

Interactive controls include a knob to turn, a button to push and an 8” display with touchscreen.  Enticing people to turn a knob is 82% easier than getting them to touch the glass on a big display. The high resolution control panel display supports the content on the large display in the same way a label next to framed artwork provides information. Unlike a printed label, the iC4K control panel can change languages and provide numerous types of information that change as the content changes on the large display. The control panel computer is connected to a second computer via a wifi network within the display. System updates and program changes can be made via the network or SD card.
